Urdd Eisteddfod 2024
Area round- Saturday 2nd March 2024
Congratulations on being put forward for the Urdd Eisteddfod area round that will be taking part on Saturday 2nd March for the competitors who have been entered to represent our school.
You will need to make your own way to the venue (Ysgol Gyfun Cwm Rhondda) with your child on Saturday 2nd March- once there, you are welcome to spectate if you wish or you will be able to leave your child with Mrs Belcher if you are unable to stay and she will text you as soon as your child has finished performing. We do not need to stay for the entire day, just for our performances, so as soon as your child has performed you will be able to leave/pick your child up.
Closer to the time, we will have an itinerary for the day and will be able to give you a time to arrive- as soon as we have this information, we will let you know. All children need to wear school uniform.
Any competitiors who place 1st or 2nd will go through to the regional round which is being held on the 16th March 2024 in Ysgol Gyfun Treorci.
If you have any questions or would like to discuss any of the plans for Saturday with us, please fill out the form below and we will get back to you as soon as we can. Thank you!
